“We absolutely love it. Nothing compares to Stoneleigh. It is a great value and the advice I give potential members is to do their homework and make a decision before the remaining categories fill up.”
-- Stoneleigh Member, Chris D.
Becoming a member at Stoneleigh G&CC means being part of a family friendly community that prides itself on the history, amenities and beauty of their Club. Membership at Stoneleigh enables you to escape from the stresses of everyday life. With a stunning golf course and relaxed clubhouse, it is easy to enjoy a cocktail or casual meal with friends and family. At Stoneleigh, members can relax and enjoy one another’s company without the pretentiousness found at other clubs.
Members enjoy one of the most beautiful and accessible golf courses in Northern Virginia. Stoneleigh members have the benefit of uncrowded links with less than half the rounds played annually as most other area clubs.
Members also take advantage of a full calendar of special events, expansive practice area, excellent food, and a family oriented pool. Beyond amenities, however, Stoneleigh members consistently report that the camaraderie and down to earth nature of our members combined with a staff that knows the members and cares deeply about their needs results in a very unique and relaxing experience.

Stoneleigh is excited to welcome to our team, Executive Chef Randy Mosteller as Food and Beverage Manager. Randy spent the last 15 years in the heart of the Washington DC market of fine restaurants with tenures at the famous Old Ebbitt Grill and Smith & Wollensky. He was the Executive Chef at Redwood Restaurant and Bar in Bethesda, MD, and with the Wooden Nickel restaurant and bar group at two of their properties to include Orange Anchor and Union Social.
Randy is a graduate from the New England Culinary Institute and was featured in Biz Now magazine as a 'Chef to watch out for'.
Randy describes his style of cooking as being trained in the art of French cuisine paired with the influence of Southern hospitality: "Start with great ingredients and prepare them well!". He gets his inspiration for menus from products that are currently in season and acquires as many fresh meats and produce from local farmers as possible.
This Thursday, January 11th the Tavern will open for lunch at 11 am with a new menu and new flavors from Randy's favorite selections. We will also be introducing a new wine menu this week with an opportunity for our members to participate in wine tasting starting this Thursday evening through the weekend in the dining room.
Friday evening January 12th from 5-9 pm, we will host Tommy Rothman, acoustic performer, to provide you with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere while you enjoy your dinner and sample our new wine selections.
